Moor Music Festival Volunteer Application
How to Apply:
Read the terms and conditions thoroughly. You must be prepared to adhere to these, if not then volunteering may not be for you.
Complete the application form with full contact details, including telephone number and email address. This is how we are most likely to contact you and it makes things a little easier on the admin volunteers!
Festival Volunteer Terms and Conditions
- All volunteers must register at the festival gate no later than 5pm on Thursday 7th August 2008.
- All volunteers will work up to 12hrs throughout the festival; this will involve 2 x 6 hour shifts over the duration of the weekend. Shifts are between 6pm on Thursday 7th August and 6pm on Sunday 10th August. Stewards are required on a 24hr rota so night work may be required.
- To volunteer you will need to send in a bond of £65, which will be returned to you after the end of the festival. The bond is non-refundable if you do not fully complete all of your shifts or if you cancel within a month before the festival.
- Your priority as a volunteer is to help us run the Moor Music Festival. We appreciate that there may be specific attractions at the festival that you may want to see, and although we will try to be accommodating where possible, it may be that requests cannot be met.
- If you are accepted, you will receive acceptance notification once we have processed your form. Acceptance will be conditional on your cheque being processed.
- You will receive further information regarding the shifts you will work and your festival duties when you register at the festival.
- Failure to attend an assigned shift or attendance in an intoxicated state will result in your bond cheque being non-returned.
A Paypal bond of £65.00 must be paid after you complete your application form. This will be returned to your Paypal account after the festival if you have completed all of your shifts.
N.B There is a £5 admin charge therefore returned PayPal payments will be for the sum of £6
