Q. Will there be a family camping area?
A. Yes, you will be directed to the quiet camping area on request when you arrive.
Q. Can I bring my dog/oxen/guinea foul?
A. No, please leave fido and all other pets at home.
Q. Do we have to pay to park?
A. There is a small charge for parking - click here for details.
Q. What happens to lost kids/adults?
A. stewards will be on hand to direct your loved one to the site office.
(Please do not leave young children unattended in the kid’s area, it is not a crèche. Be sure your older children know where to find you).
Q. Can we bring food and drink?
A. You will be able to bring your own food and drink (including alcohol) whether you are camping or a day visitor. However, alcohol, glass bottles, jars or tins will not be allowed into the fenced festival enclosure. There will be checks at the entrances and you will be asked to return any objects like this to your vehicle or tent, so please do not try to enter the festival area with them.
Q. Can anyone give me a lift?
A. Go to thTravel page and find the link for the Freewheelers website. Freewheelers have a sharing attitude and Moor Music is listed as a destination so go register. If you have any spare spaces in your car then again visit the Freewheelers website and offer a seat or two is your wagon.
Q. Will there be a vegetarian caterer on site?
A. Yes, and organic food will be available too. There is also meat caterer’s. Mosty all of the food on site will be local produce and has not taxed the planet to be with us. The Green Machine
Q. Can we have fires/barbecues in the camping fields?
A. No open fires will be permitted, it’s a safety thing, Also we have a agreement with the farmer that we won’t burn his land. Barbecues which are raised off the ground and camping cookers are ok, but please be carefull.....
Q. Where do we dispose of rubbish on site?
A. We at Moor Music are committed to recycling the waste produced at the festival. Please respect our recycling policy by disposing of your waste responsibly in the relevant bins or take it home with you. There will be plenty of recycling points around the festival and the recycling crew will be on hand to offer advice and enable festival goers to recycle their waste. The festival is held on farm land and we are essentially borrowing the land from the cows - we don’t want to make them mad, last time they were upset they licked the wing mirror off my car.
Q. Do mobile phones work on the festival site?
A. Yes they do, everywhere, all day. and night
Please Note: Anyone found entering the festival site wlth an animal of any sort will be asked to leave and take it home. Besides it wouldn’t much fun for them anyway. |
